Welcome to Moonkitty.NET, a fansite dedicated to Naoko Takeuchi's hit manga, anime, musical and live action tv series, Sailor Moon!
The site's really heating up with it's regular content updates and weekly Sailor Moon Roundup so make sure to subscribe to our site feed to stay up to date!
Something I'm really looking forward to this year is Deep Submerge Directory's first awards event that'll be going sometime in July. Stuff like these really do help to motivate webmasters into making their sites the best they can be. Personally I'll be doing a bit to get Moonkitty.NET ready for participation.
Speaking of Deep Submerge, the directory has just started a Sailor Moon button exchange. As always, a great way to advertise your Sailor Moon site.

Moon Chase has some major news about the Animazement Convention in North Carolina! THREE Sailor Moon voice actors will appear; Kotono Mitsuishi who played Sailor Moon in the anime, Akira Kamiya who played Professor Tomoe in the anime and Keiko Han who was Luna in the animeandlive action show.
Yasuo Yamaguchi, the producer of the Sailor Moon anime will also be there! Not a bad turn out!
And finally UsagiandMamoru.com has a lot of new Sailor Moon wallpapers worth checking out!

Sorry about the lack of site updates. My job has been really full on with lots of 6 day weeks and I really just haven't had the energy to do anything too major or search for Sailor Moon music videos or news.
Work has settled down though so expect lots of updates from now on.
Major Sailor Moon news? Not really that much though the official Sailor Moon site has updated with a completely new opening sequence including the Outers most likely due to the animated manga pages on the site having reached the "S arc" where Sailors Neptune, Uranus and Saturn are introduced.

First of all, sorry about the lack of news roundups or music video spotlights. I've been working 6 day work weeks and have just come down with a very serious case of the flu. It's honestly taking a lot of energy just to write this but it's such big news that I just had to write about it....
Sailor Moon is back on tv in the UK! It's airing at 7:05am Saturday mornings during the Sat1 block on ToonAttik. They've just aired the first episode of season 1, A Moon Star is Born and will air a few more from the first and second seasons before airing the complete S and SuperS seasons which apparently have never aired in the UK.
A pretty quiet week on the fandom front and Sailor Moon news front with U&MUniverse's Site Guardians being the coolest bit of updating lately. If you like to decorate your sites, check it out!
And now for the big news.... I was surfing YouTube and actually found several Sailor Moon fan films!!! The first one is called The Fall of Sailor Moon and is really well done! Note that there is heavy drug references. Really well acted and directed.

Nah, just kidding. but wouldn't it be great? Seriously though, every day I expect some anime news site to break the news about a new Sailor Moon anime series. With all these old series getting relaunched or turned into movies, the time just seems so right for a new version of Sailor Moon to pop up. Why hasn't it happened yet? Most likely due to the copyrights being held up in Japan by Toei and possibly Naoko Takeuchi herself.
It really is only a matter of time though. Did you know next year will be 10 years since the final episode of Sailor Stars (Episode 200) aired? Fingers crossed!
There's a possibility of The Deep Submerge Directory hosting a massive Sailor Moon website awards! Interested? Head on over there and mention how great it would be in the guestbook!!! Something like this would really motivate Sailor Moon webmasters and reinvigorate the Moonie community!
We have a new Affiliate in ShadowGalactica.com! Check it out for your Sailor Stars villain fix!
SeraMyu Antics has a brand new domain name, www.SeraMyuAntics.net! It's an excellent site full of Sailor Moon musical goodness! Check it out!
SailorMoonCards.eu has completely revamped their site and updated some content too!
Gaia Online has now added several other colour themed schoolgirl outfits to help all Sailor Moon fans cosplay their avatars into any Sailor Scout they wish! The February exclusive donation item though holds the mascot, heart wand, background bubbles and Super Bow.
In site news I've been cleaning up the Affiliates once more so those sites that haven't updated within the last 356 days have been removed from the side menu. They are however in the links page. If you have been removed from the side and you've just updated your site, email me to let me know you're active again and I'll re-add you.
Again a reminder for all new affiliate applications I am now going by a new policy that Moonkitty.NET must be linked to on EVERY PAGE of your site. Not just the splash page or links page. Speaking of splash pages, I will no longer link to these as I feel they waste visitors' time so instead I will link to the pages they lead too. Please let's leave splash pages in the early 90s where they belong. :D
I've been going FULL BLAST with the Sailor Moon episode guides! Expect a massive update later today!

I've really been ploughing through the episode guides but I'm still not ready to tell you what I've exactly been doing yet so if you are surfing the guides and discover a broken link or image, don't worry, I'm on it!
Now, on to the Sailor Moon Roundup!
Ballads & Bows has a new staff member and a whopping 15 new reviews in the last few days! Well done!
The Oracle has done a pretty major update with some new info and music.
I've noticed The Oracle has also posted this and the fact that what I'm about to write is so similar to her post is purely coincidental.
I've also been a fan of GaiaOnline for a while now (I go by "Captain Caffeine", look me up!) and check the site daily. Imagine my surprise when I saw the other day that they finally released an item inspired by Sailor Moon, The Magical Girl! The item comes complete with Chibi Chibi / Chibi Usa (Mini Moon) wig, heart rod, skirt and top plus bows for the front and back. Something I thought was a nifty idea was the cute little mascot that comes with it! If you're on GaiaOnline and you're reading this I highly recommend checking it out.
Speaking of The Oracle it's updated recently with more episode screencaps and information on several characters updated.
Ballads and Bows has a new song review up and several new reviewers have joined the site. The relaunch seems to be off to a great start!
I did some cleaning up on my Naoko Takeuchi's Toki Meka Site this past weekend. If you're a fan of the manga (and hope it continues) why not join the fanlisting? If I have enough time, hopefully I'll be adding some media to the site as it's severely lacking in content.

Quite a few sites are active lately! Is it just me or has online interest in Sailor Moon seem to have grown in the last few months? So many sites coming back! Brilliant!
As always, the SCM!R has updated several times this week with new decks and games.
SailorCosmos.org is feeling the Sailor Moon kick and has updated with some new content.
Good Lord has this year gone fast!!! It seems like Moonkitty.NET was just turning 8 a few weeks ago and now there's only 2 months until it turns 9! That's just one more year until it turns 10!!! Pretty amazing!
With that big milestone coming up I've dedicated myself to getting a complete Sailor Moon anime episode guide online. Before I write and screencap any new anime episodes though I've started going back and reformatting, spell checking, and fixing up the episode guides for the first season.
As I've said previously I managed to pick up my Sailor Moon DVDs while I was back in Australia so will be adding Sailor Moon DVD reviews to the episode guide pages complete with DVD menu screencaps and more so it matches the Live Action Sailor Moon Episode Guide.
Once season one is finished, I'll move on to where I was up to in the second season, Sailor Moon R and move forward at a steady pace to do the Sailor Moon movies, Sailor Moon S, Sailor Moon SuperS, Sailor Moon Stars as well as the undubbed episodes and specials.
The Sailor Moon Attacks are also being cleaned up with the broken links being fixed (you can all stop emailing me now! Haha. But thanks for caring!) and several attacks now finally having their separate pages for the anime, manga and live action versions.
Those of you who are regulars to this site may have noticed that the Moonie Music Monday has been missing so far in 2008. Don't worry. I've just been really busy getting back into the groove of things after the holidays and it will be back tomorrow as per usual! Hurrah!
Still A Moonie (great concept!) has a new layout... or is it just me? Love those old manga images of Sailor Moon with the mask.
The Official Japanese Sailor Moon Site has updated with a day in the life of Mamoru and a Mailbox that's actually interesting! Someone asks where Sailor Moon lives and are told that it's a mystery but somewhere in the heart of Tokyo. (most likely referring to the superhero persona and not Usagi/Serena whom we know lives in Azabu Juban). Hilariously, someone also asks about how long it takes for the Sailors to transform! And the official answer is.... while it looks like it takes a while, the transformations actually happen instantly. You heard it here guys and gals. We now know why the baddies never attack during those 5 minute stock footage scenes! :D

If you're reading this from the site, you've probably noticed that I've begun fiddling with the nav menu again. I'm still not happy with the way it looks. Expect me to decide on something soon.
I've also begun cleaning up several pages. Which ones? All will be revealed when finished. ;)
For the Roundup this week I would like to draw attention once more to the Fighter4Luv Sailor Stars dub who's first episode is due for release really soon. The creator has released several preview clips to showcase of the fantastic image quality and professionalism of the voice actors. I tell you what, if noone told me this was a fandub clip I would have thought it was the real Sailor Mercury! Check out the new Mercury here.
And don't forget this clip of Uranus and Neptune's transformation. The voices haven't been added yet (in this clip) but it really does showcase the effort put in with all those sound effects and music!
Welcome to the first Sailor Moon News Roundup for 2008!!!
Senshi Card-Mania!-R has updated with a whole new site skin collection and several new features for those into online card games! Well worth a look!
The Oracle has also updated with a new layout for the new year! Plenty of content updates as well!
Toonzone has a cool interview with James Marsters (Spike from Buffy and Angel) who is in the new Dragonball Z live action movie. While I was not a fan of the anime at all I'm very curious about this new movie which could be interesting. If it does well in theatres it would also show studios that an anime can be made into a hit live action movie and may renew interest in a live action Sailor Moon movie.
I just came across this very cool fan fic site that asks the question, what would Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon have been like if Tuxedo Mask was the star and instead of brainwashing the four generals, Beryl controlled Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. Very very cool idea! Over 50 "episodes" written!
BSSMLA has a massive update on the main page with site updates, con news and more all covered.
A very old and famous site, A Sailor Moon Romance has officially closed. It will be missed.
Chibiland has been doing some cleaning and fixing-uping.
UsagiandMamoruUniverse.com (I always feel like rewatching PGSM when I see that layout!) has updated with seasons greetings, personal pet photos (cute!) and some great new icons well worth your downloading time.
Neo Nobility has a nice layout for the new year! Very fresh and kind of cool as she's using the image she used in the site's first 88x31 button (I think).
Moonlit Stars has a completely new layout which I was very late in reporting! Sorry!
The Official Japanese Sailor Moon Site has updated with new digital manga, more letters (though nothing of interest there) and a "day in the life" of Chibi Usa / Rini.
The Deep Submerge Directory has slightly tweaked the site layout (I like!) and several sites have been added.
I just realised a LOT of Sailor Moon sites are updating! YAY!!!
Unless my feedburner counter is buggy, it looks like Moonkitty.NET has gained over 2000 new feed subscribers within the last month! If this is indeed the case, here's a big welcome to all the new readers!
While I was on holiday in Melbourne, Australia I was having a coffee in Starbucks and heard some early 20-somethings talking about "that old cartoon, Sailor Moon"! Pretty cool that the show's still in the public's mind!
Also, while in Australia I managed to pick up all my Sailor Moon DVDs and bring them back to Tokyo with me so expect a LOT of updates this year!
I am still accepting Affiliate / Sister / Brother Site applications! If you're interested, Contact Me. If you already have, I'll be going through my emails this week and should be replying to you any day now.
Any fans of CLAMP need to be checking out this new Tsubasa OAV, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: Tokyo Revelations! Incredible animation and a super fast pace. If you haven't checked out Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle manga or anime I highly recommend you do so.
Well Christmas is just around the corner Moonies! If you haven't already, check out the Christmas Special mini site I have by the link on the right hand menu. Make sure you have popups enabled! I'll be adding some extra features there this week so stay tuned!
In the community, this big site is still updating though looks to be taking a little holiday break for a bit (can't blame her at all! I'm fairly busy myself!)
UsagiandMamoruUniverse.com has been having some trouble with another Sailor Moon site which has been direct linking her files! And guess what? She contacted the site's hosting provider and now that site faces deletion! Let that be a lesson to those direct linking to files on other people's (and my) sites! ;)
UsagiandMamoruUniverse.com also has some great Sailor Moon holiday themed icons for your use. Just don't direct link to them! ;)
"Due to the potential offensive nature of a comment Fred Ladd made during the interview, we caution readers before they click the link below to read this. We at Moon Chase! would like to state that we in no way believe that any nation has a specific way of thinking about the cartoons that they make, especially when it comes to the nature of violence in a cartoon. Our staff is multi-culturally diverse and we are the last people on the planet to demean another culture or race over anything - especially over the cartoons that they make. We are only stating what was said in the interview. "
That's how the staff at Moonchase introduced their rather interesting article on an interview with Fred Ladd who was involved in the English adaption of Sailor Moon. I'm not making a personal attack against that website because normally it's a very good source of information but this "warning" of their's is no only misleading but an insult to Fred Ladd who says nothing racist of the sort. He even mentions in the interview that he doesn't want to sound racist!
When I read the warning I assumed the interview would be full of racial slurs or sexually explicit language. What do we get? One line of dialogue on how Fred Ladd, in 1995 had never seen a cartoon series for children with as much violence as Sailor Moon. An opinion that is completely his own, also referring to his personal career in the industry but yet is a completely normal impression of the genre at that moment in time.
By their very nature Japanese cartoons are more violent that American ones simply due to the different culture, different parenting styles and a lack of a tv rating system. Yes there is violence in American cartoons but in all seriousness have a look at the first two seasons of Sailor Moon. Look at the episode where Nephlite dies. Can you find an example of a similarly graphic scene in an American cartoon made before 1995? Not likely.
What Fred Ladd said is not offensive in the least and as much as I appreciate fans defending the series I would like to remind everyone not to go too far with their assumptions.
In regular news, the official Sailor Moon site has updated with a new Christmas layout featuring similar artwork shown last year. Some more flash games and manga chapters have been added.
Well it's been such a slow week that there's pretty much nothing to report here! What are ya gonna do, eh? ;)
I was kind of hoping there would be some Sailor Moon news, specifically involving the Nintendo Wii game that's set to come out the 31st of next month. Perhaps it is just a weird online listing afterall. :\
Fans of CLAMP's Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle should check out my Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle site as I've just uploaded the first episode guide for the Tokyo Revelations OAV which came out here in Japan last week. Very very cool.
While I'm plugging I might as well mention my blog about my life in Japan which I'm in the middle of revamping. If you want to find out more about me personally, that's the place to go! There's even a photo of me on there. ;)
That's about it from me right now. Happy Thanksgiving for those celebrating it (I'm Australian so I don't) and I'll try find some news next week.

Welcome to this week's Sailor Moon Roundup. Right on time! ;)
Chibiland has updated with new images of Chibi Usa (Rini) and Pegasus. They also have a new affiliate!
UsagiAndMamorusuniverse.com (still love that layout!) has uploaded HEAPS of images of Usagi and Mamoru! Check out the hard work!
Serenitatis has also updated with a lot of new images.
SailorMau.tk is updating. If you haven't checked out this fan Sailor Soldier (named after the real one!) please do!
NeoNobility will be going through some changes once more! Icera has posted in her updates blog a preview of the Helios page! Pay special attention to the lower right menu! Looks like three more skins may be on their way! :D
In closing, I've known about this Sailor Moon reference for a while but just came across it on YouTube! For those that don't know, Sailor Moon was referenced in the movie from a few years back, The Core. It's a very quick mention but still pretty cool to see it in a recent movie.

There has been talk of someone interested in getting the titles Geneon used to own and Sailor Moon has been thrown around a bit but even if anyone gets what Geneon owned, Sailor Moon wouldn't be available as their licence for the series expired years before the company went under.
Senshi Card Mania R is still going with their cool Halloween Event. Check it out for some seasonal fun!
A new Sailor Moon domain has opened recently, ShadowGalactica.com. It looks very interesting and I look forward to seeing where it goes.
Fans are freaking out about the Sailor Moon manga now being out of print in Japan. Relax guys! Manga series go out of print all the time. Don't read too much into it.
Just last night this YouTube video was brought to my attention of a brother and sister dancing to Sailor Moon and Sailor Mini Moon's S season transformation. They're really good! Check it out for some true Moonies in action!
A rather good Sailor Moon fanart site is updating with new images every Saturday. Well worth a look!
Senshi Card Mania! has uploaded several new theme decks for Halloween featuring the anime's opening credits!
Halloween is just around the corner! Hope you all have fun next week or if you're going out this Saturday night instead like me! Remember the best fun is safe fun! Sailor Moon Says! ;)

Welcome to the latest edition of the weekly Sailor Moon Roundup!
First up is this cool article that I just found that covers the early history of Tokyopop when it was Mixx and Chix Comix back when it was printing the English version of the Sailor Moon manga. Very interesting read and well worth a look especially if like me you first read the manga when it was released by them.
The live action Sailor Mars, Keiko Kitagawa is staring in a new JDrama, the stupidly named Mop Girl which is basically a Japanese rip-off of Tru Calling. Thanks to this Genvid forum post for the heads up!
Senshi Card Mania will be hosting a special Halloween event in the next week or so! make sure to check it out!
Anyone ever cosplayed their pet cat? Stay tuned! ;)

Now on to some site news elsewhere in the internet:
The Oracle has continued her Japanese Sailor Moon episode guides. As she says they really aren't that different from the English episodes but if you want to check out the episodes with the subtle differences, The Oracle is the site to check out. Thanks for the plug, btw!
UsagiandMamoruUniverse.com has revamped with a completely new layout featuring the live action Usagi and Mamoru! One of the best layouts I've seen in a LONG time! Well done!
The very cool Fighter4Luv English dub of Sailor Stars is going along very nicely and they've released some test footage which features their new Luna and Amy voice actresses here. (They're actually the same person!) Also in the same topic is a sample of their Tuxedo Mask which sounds very promising!
Also on this dub, the previously mentioned poll concerning changing Hotaru's name to "Tara" has been restarted and moved here. Let your voice be heard! Which name do you prefer?
The Japanese Official Sailor Moon website has updated with new manga chapters added to their flash manga section. There's also a new mailbox update as well. Disappointingly, the layout remains the same this month.
The Oracle has updated with some episode screencaps and the promise of some exciting new features? What will they be?!? Only time will tell!
The very cool Fighter4Luv DiC style fandub of Sailor Stars (that I personally can't wait for!) has uploaded a preview clip of their voice actress for Amy/Sailor Mercury in this post on their forums and it's so spot on that I think most people won't be able to tell the difference between this voice actress and the one used in the first two seasons of the English dub! Keep an eye on this project!
Also related to the Fighter4Luv: There's a rather heated discussion going on about whether to change Hotaru's name to "Tara" for the Stars season. What do you think?
In site news, I updated the guide page for the live action energy attack to include screencaps of it's second and final use which shows Sailor Luna and Sailor Venus using it for the first time. Also updated the information on the same page.
That's all for now! Sailor Moon Says!

Genvid has updated with some interesting news on the state of the rumoured Sailor Moon Wii game as well as Geneon who released Sailor Moon S and SuperS on DVD a few years back. Looks like the company isn't doing so well! If only they released Sailor Stars! ;)
Kirari-PGSM.net has completed their indepth look at Sailor Luna's costumes.
Neo Nobility has added two kick arse skins to the site! My personal fave being the Sailor Quartet one!
The Oracle has begun to implement their new site layout which is very different than what I was expecting. Way to surprise me! In even better news the webmaster, Elizabeth is getting married very soon! Congratulations! I'm sure you'll both be very happy!!!
The always classic, Neo Nobility is pondering another layout change due to a lot of her visitors being too lazy to upgrade their Internet Explorer versions so the site will look better! Everyone should really upgrade their browsers. not just to make the web look better while your surfing but also for your computer's security as all upgrades have the latest security patches. If you're using an older browser you're almost guaranteed to get a virus or worm of some kind. Better yet, forget Internet Explorer and download the superior FireFox 2 which is more secure and loads pages at twice the speed as IE! It's what I personally use and I highly recommend it!
Kirari-PGSM has mentioned my progress with my live action Sailor Moon guide! Cheers!
The Daily Yomiuri (a Japanese newspaper that I don't normally recommend reading) has posted an article on US female anime fans and mentions Sailor Moon as beginning the trend:
"The U.S. broadcast of Japanese anime series Sailor Moon about 10 years ago had some effect on the format's popularity among girls, Karahashi said, but "I think it was in 2000 that it really started changing, because there were some [other] titles that were brought to the U.S. in anime that got really popular among girls." The ongoing U.S. manga boom has also helped."
Wonder festival 2007 has created a poster that combines Sailor Moon with Asuka from neon Genesis Evangelion. Check it out here in the Genvid forums.
That's about all for this week! Sailor Moon Says!

The Deep Submerge Directory has updated with a new Site of the Month! Check it out to see which site it is! It's a classic site from years back that making a come back!
BSSMLA has started updating again thanks to a new computer. Check out the report from Matsuricon!
Genvid has once more translated the Official Sailor Moon Site's monthly update and letters column. Pretty interesting and well worth a look. I find it amazing how Japanese kids are still discovering the series years after it's finished.
Still no updates on the Upcoming Sailor Moon Nintendo Wii Game due for release on December 31st this year. As soon as there's more news on it I'll post it asap!
Rumours of the American live action Sailor Moon movie have quietened down completely lately. No more news on Lindsay Lohan or Joss Whedon. However there's been official word that the American live action Dragonball Z movie will begin production this year! I'm not really a fan of the series but if this movie does well, then the odds of a Sailor Moon one being made will increase! Since Transformers made so much money, a Robotech (Macross) movie is in the works as is a Voltron movie.
It's a good time to be a retro anime fan!

This has been a great week for me as a Sailor Moon webmaster! Two fans who I had never really spoken to before have gone out of their way to encourage me to continue the site and contribute information for me to pass along to you guys!
The first email I received was from Eiennosenshi who wrote:
hello, I was browsing the net and i found that a website offers sailormoon hats for sale (although very expensive - $35 each O___O)
I just thought you'll consider this interesting and post it in the news section, as i see you are quite active in the SM community and always look for new releases of anything Sailormoon or new merchandise :)))))) take care. (eiennosenshi~, a diehard Sailormoon fan XD)
Thanks so much Eiennosenshi! I wouldn't have found that store if you hadn't told me!
The second email really made my week and I just have to share it with everyone to show my appreciation:
Greetings!
I was taking my weekly visit to your BSSM fan site Moonkitty.net when I suddenly realized..."Lord, this individual has faithfully continued to update this site while others would have just moved on to other things." I'm not really one for writing really long praise-filled letters/email, but I just have to give recognition where it's due.
I hope that you accept my sincerest thanks and gratitude for sticking in there for those of us, including yourself, who are still Sailor Moon fans, some 15 years later, and continuously updating and giving us access to so many treasures in this spectacular site of yours. I've found out many things about Sailor Moon I would have never have found out otherwise (ex: Sailor Moon for Wii) and all in all, I just have a blast browsing through the website.
I'm sure, from having kept the website up for so long and being so experienced, you don't need me to tell you this, but I'll throw it out there anyway, keep up the incredible work! I love Sailor Moon, I love your site, and most of all, I love your commitment.
Cheers, Francisco aka ZeldaLink786
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK!!!
Thank YOU Francisco!!!

I'm still new to the idea of an online CCG but this looks really well made with some beautiful graphics. If you've got some time to kill, check it out.
Back in the real world I've been so busy as my school is making us all work 6 day work weeks for the next two weeks which had drained all of my energy. Still want to get the guides for the Special Act and Act Zero up by this weekend though so wish me luck! Once those two are done I'll finish the DVD reviews, attacks and then the site cleaning and reorganising can begin!

The results of the Toei poll are out and I'm thrilled to say that Sailor Moon scored the most votes out of every series in every genre!
Here's hoping Toei sees this and attempts to release Sailor Moon abroad once again.
pgsm-fanfiction.net has uploaded a new site skin to match Kirari's new look.
There will be a Naoko Takeuchi and a Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon panel at the upcoming Matsuricon. If you're heading over there on September 7th - 9th 2007, make sure to check these panels out!

Shibue Joji (live action Tuxedo Mask) can be seen in a new manga based live action Japanese drama series called, Hotaru no Hikari. Apparently it's a small role (thanks to MnemosyneFan for the info!) but he's in it. A strange, yet typical Japanese trailer can be seen here on YouTube. Unfortunately Shibby isn't in it.
UsagiandMamoruUniverse.com is celebrating it's 6th Anniversary! Sorry I haven't wished you congrats personally! Have just been distracted lately with updates and social life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
SailorWar.net has updated with a new page about the Sailor Moon anime movies.
And for those who missed Tuesday's News Flash, Toei is officially conducting a poll at ANN concerning what anime series US people would like to see subtitled into English and released Stateside. "Sailor Moon" includes the entire series. Every season. Including Sailor Stars. This is a HUGE chance for us to get Sailor Stars released in an official capacity in English. If you haven't already, please vote.

Guess what! I've completed the main episode guides in the live action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Episode Guide! All I have left now are the DVD only specials and the musical performance! Woooo!!! Oh, and a few... HUNDRED attacks. ;)
The Oracle has been updating a bit lately with some episode info and Sailor Moon Musical content as well as some encyclopaedia additions. Way to go!
SailorWar.net also has some new info up. If you haven't seen this new site yet, make sure you do!
A new Auction Spotlight has been added to the right hand menu. Pretty cool! Updates automatically with the latest Sailor Moon online auctions.
One of my favourite live action sites, Kirari-PGSM has updated yet again with a completely new layout (nice!) as well as some cool costume analysis for you cosplayers. Cool new music videos too!
The Fighter4Luv Sailor Stars English Dub has released a very cool trailer for the upcoming episodes! Seriously watch this trailer! Incredibly well done! Email and Feed readers click HERE.
Genvid has uploaded videos of the PGSM panel at Otakon HERE. Pretty cool though some of the speach was hard to make out.
That's a bout for Sailor Moon news this week! Concerning site updates, expect the final live action Sailor Moon DVD (from the regular set anyway) to be online soon as well as a lot more attacks. Will also be cleaning up the site a bit more graphically (you may have noticed some changes here and there) and seeing what I can do for Internet Explorer users as the site just looks crap for them. Seriously the web just looks better and loads faster and safer in the Firefox Browser. Make the switch. It's so much better. Sailor Moon Says. ;)

Main updates include a new Flash game and a mailbox update. Of particular interest is a response to an email about the Sailor Moon Musicals which we all know seemingly finished a few years ago;
"I'm so happy to hear your daughter watches Sailor Moon! Unfortunately, the musicals are on hiatus now. Please keep supporting them so that they could some day return."
Now "hiatus" is basically indirect Japanese for "cancelled" but I find it interesting that they do mention the possibility of them coming back. It's not like they say buy the anime dvds and the anime will come back. We know that ain't gonna happen. I know the musicals make a lot of their money from the amazingly expensive Sailor Moon Musical DVDs. I wonder if they are shown there's still a market, they'll start making them again? This is purely my speculation, but fingers crossed!
Apparently in the August edition of NewTypeUSA, Sailor Moon is mentioned. Here's a quote written by Lily-Chan from the Genvid forums:
Reader Feedback- What would you remake? We posed this question to visitors of newtype-usa.com: Which anime (made before the year 2000) would you like to see a modern-day remake of. Here are some of the responses.
I would say Sailor Moon. I'd like it if the first and second season were redone to look more like the animation style of Sailor Stars. It'd also be nice to have one really good voice cast do the entire series, and have Sailor Stars finally released in the US. And of course it'd be especially nice to have uncut and unedited dubbed versions too. That would be the greatest fangirl moment for me, especially since Sailor Moon was the first anime I ever watched.

Nice to see fans keeping Sailor Moon in the spotlight.
Also on those forums is this interesting topic (that I've thrown my two cents in) concerning what kind of anime fans annoy you. A fun read about something that isn't normally discussed on fan sites.
Sailor-Games.com has updated with some Sailor Moon Kiss Dolls for those who want to relive the craze from the late 90's.
Fighter4Luv has done what looks like their final test edit of their English Sailor Moon: Sailor Stars dub and it looks rather good! Email and Feed Readers click HERE.

Well it's been a crazy week with that news about Tokyopop (as it turns out) simply repeating what they've been saying for the last several years now, that they're trying to get the rights to the Sailor Moon manga so they can rerelease it. That means guys and gals that so far they still haven't got the rights, but let's keep our fingers crossed, right?
For those wanting more info on the panel where this info came from you can view a video clip from the convention HERE.
Quite a few sites have updated this last week or so.
