| ![]() Have you ever wanted to write a fan letter to the creator of Sailor Moon, Naoko Takeuchi? Here is her latest mailing address written first in English and then in the original Japanese for you to use. Don't stress too much if you can't write the Japanese. Mail addressed in English works perfectly fine in Japan. Note though that Naoko Takeuchi doesn't speak English so it's best to write in Japanese if you can. If you can't write Japanese, avoid using an online translator program (which can actually make a message more confusing!) and write your letter in simple, plain English. Tip: Avoid slang and mixing of Japanese and English words. Most Japanese words in online fandoms have a different meaning from the Japanese such as "otaku". The simpler you keep your English the great chance of her reading and understanding your letter. She has said on several occasions that even though she can't read all the letters she gets from all over the world she loves and appreciates fans who take the time to send her something. You could also send her some fan art! Pictures speak louder than words and are universal!
