Sailor Mercury's Star Attack [live action]

In Brief: In the live-action Sailor Moon series, Sailor Mercury, Mars, Venus, and Jupiter receive special Star Tambourine weapons from Artemis. Each Star Tamberine has the ability to fire energy blast and transform into a unqiue weapon specific to the Guardian holding it.

Cultural: "Mercury has been known since at least the time of the Sumerians (3rd millennium BC). It was sometimes given separate names for its apparitions as a morning star and as an evening star. Greek astronomers knew, however, that the two names referred to the same body. Heraclitus even believed that Mercury and Venus orbit the Sun, not the Earth."

The Move: Sailor Mercury holds her Star Tambourine and taps it in her hands while spinning around in a similar fashion to her Mercury Aqua Mist attack. She then points it at her target and releases pure energy star blasts. The colours of the blasts differ from episode to episode. Most of the time they're a bright blue though sometimes are a golden colour.
