In Brief: All of the Sailor Soldiers with the exception of Sailor Moon received Star Tambourines from Artemis which release blasts of star shaped energy at their targets.

Cultural: "Astronomer Michael Molnar has proposed a link between a double occultation of Jupiter by the moon in 6 BC in Aries and the Star of Bethlehem.[41] This event was quite close to the sun and would have been difficult to observe, even with a small telescope. Occultations of planets by the moon are quite common, but Firmicus Maternus, an astrologer to Roman Emperor Constantine, wrote that an occultation of Jupiter in Aries was a sign of the birth of a divine king."When the royal star of Zeus, the planet Jupiter, was in the east this was the most powerful time to confer kingships.

The Move: On it's first use, Sailor Jupiter released her star attack by holding her Star Tambourine up to her head with her left hand and shaking it to activate the weapon. Once fully charged the green crystal on the top of the tambourine began to glow. She then pointed it at her target and released a volley of gold star shaped energy blasts.

In future attacks she would hold it across her body with her right hand and pull it down with three strong shakes. She would then point it forward to release powerful green (though sometimes gold) star energy blasts.
