What's a fanlisting? A fanlisting is a website that lists as many fans as it can of a certain subject or theme (this one being Naoko Takeuchi's newest manga series, Toki Meka (also called Toki Meca and/or Toki Mecha).)

Tell me about Toki Meka! Toki Meka is the latest manga from Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of the famous manga, anime and live action tv show, Sailor Moon.
The series is very similar in tone with Sailor Moon as it follows a Japanese schoolgirl lead through her every day life and meeting of new friends, etc. However, there's a catch! She's a robot!
Toki Meka #1 was released in late 2005 and #2 is scheduled for early 2006. Naoko seems very dedicated to the series as is evidence by the second volume coming out AND her constant Toki Meka drawings on the Sailormoon Channel website.

Toki Meka? Toki Meca? Toki Mecha? The reason why there are so many names for this series is simply due to Naoko Takeuchi's lack of motivation to use an English dictionary. The second half of the title should be "Mecha" (which is actually Japanese English as well) as in robot or the shortened term for "mechanical". Naoko has translated this word into Hiragana (one of the Japanese alphabets) for the title of the series and it works as the Hiragana used sounds the same as "Mecha". However, when translating Hiragana into English, the symbol for "ca or ka" sounds is always written as "ka", hence the translation of the series as being Toki Meka. To further confuse matters, Naoko has begun using random (and usually bad) English with this series and actually writes the name of the series in Romanji (English alphabet used in Japan) as Toki "Meca".
Confused? I sure am. The reason I decided to go with Toki "Meka" for this site is that this seems to be the most commonly used version of the title on English speaking websites. The choice is really up to on what you use though. I hope I made your choice a little easier.
