Japanese Opening 3

This third and final opening for the Sailor Moon S season features quite a few additions, reflecting several new characters and plot developments.

Sailor Pluto and Sailor Mini Moon have been added in several shots, though didn't make it to the opening pillar scene. Hotaru has also been added though we never see her as Sailor Saturn in a Sailor Moon S opening or any Sailor Moon anime opening for that matter.

Elements of the Holy Grail / Purity Chalice also make an appearance such as the item itself, the cosmic butterflies as well as Super Sailor Moon.

Due to being the only version of the opening that had an extra creditless opening produced, it was this version that was used for the Uncut English Opening Credits on the North American DVDs.
