| ![]() How do I play Japanese Sailor Moon DVDs? The new Japanese Sailor Moon DVDs (in fact all Japanese DVDs) are Region 2. This means that you will need a DVD player that can play Region 2 DVDs. UK fans are lucky as this is the same Region Code as them but Australian and New Zealand fans are Region 4 and North America is Region 1.

Do a Google search for your DVD player's model number (which should be on the player itself) and you should be able to find a number that you can enter on your remote control that will make it Region Free. If you watch DVDs on your computer, there are programs you can download to make your computer drive Region Free too. Something I use on my Mac is a program called VLC which doesn't change your computer settings at all. You simply open the DVD through this program and it works around the disk's Region Code. There really is no reason for anyone not to enjoy DVDs from Japan... or any country!
