| ![]() Why didn't Sailor Mini Moon die in the Sailor Moon manga?
In the final arc of the Sailor Stars arc of the Sailor Moon manga the future appears to have been changed due to the death of Tuxedo Mask yet Sailor Mini Moon (Sailor Chibi Moon in the original Japanese version) The reason for this is rather simple, the future hadn't completely been erased from existence yet. While the future bodies of Tuxedo Mask, Artemis, Luna, Diana, Sailor Mars, etc had begun to fade from existence due to their deaths in the present they still hadn't completely disappeared suggesting that there was still a chance for them to be saved in the present (their past). Had Sailor Moon not done what she did at the Galaxy Cauldron and saved the universe it's entirely possible that Sailor Mini Moon, along with Neo Crystal Tokyo would have been wiped from existence. As it stood though there was still a chance for the future to be saved. Many assume that because Tuxedo Mask had begun to fade, Mini Moon should have too but Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Moon rules of time travel obviously follow a different logic and there is no universal set of rules for time travel.
