| ![]() ![]() ![]() Pretty GuardianSailor MoonBumper 1
![]() ![]() ![]() At the end of all the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon episodes ran a short bumper in place of the ending credits that ran on the anime series. This is very common in live action Japanese tv shows, especially children's "action dramas" as it allows more time for the actual episode though the real reason for the bumpers is to advertise all of the show's sponsors' logos with a voice-over advertising them.
![]() ![]() ![]() When the episodes were released on DVD, the bumpers remained though they would almost always be moved to run exclusively after the final episode on the disk to allow for a smoother viewing experience. Another change to the bumpers on the DVDs were the removal of all the sponosors' logos and the voice-over as those sponsors only had advertising rights for the tv broadcast and not the DVDs. These screenshots are taken from the DVD version. The first bumper features all five Sailor Soldiers striking a pose one by one before Luna jumps up in front of the camera and is chased around by Sailor Moon.
