Sailor Venus' Transformation Pen

The day after Artemis had confronted Minako and told her of her true identity, Minako finds herself faced with the enemy. Artemis quickly reappears and throws her the pen. "Boss" immediately begins communicating with her through it and instructs her to transform. She does so and becomes Sailor V for the first time.

Sailor V's transformation pen, which she continues to use after awakening fully as Sailor Venus, has a very different design from Sailor Mercury, Mars and Jupiter's pens and is also more functional.

It features a small star on it's tip surrounded by two rings in addition to a crescent moon symbol on the front and a smaller one on the side.

In addition to helping Minako transform, this pen also functions as a real pen though with the added magical benefit of writing only the truth.

The star on the top can also extend as part of an antennae, allowing Minako to communicate with "Boss", Artemis, Luna and others with the two crescent symbols acting as a mic and speaker.
