In Crown Karaoke, the girls are once more talking about Tuxedo Mask. Usagi is still convinced that he's on their side, especially because of how he tried to help her fight Kunzite recently. The other girls still think they can't trust him however.
 Meanwhile at Minako's house, her and Artemis have realised that they're being followed by Youma ever since Minako revealed herself to be Moon Princess in front of Nephrite. Artemis suspects that they must still be after the crystal so they both set up a false report about Minako's house being robbed.
Usagi and her family see the news report on the robbery as does Mamoru who is wondering if the Moon Princess is the same princess from his dreams. Suddenly he gets a phone call from a mysterious person which seems to surprise and shock him.
 In the Dark Kingdom, Kunzite is telling Beryl and Nephrite how even though he failed to get Sailor Moon's energy he will still target the other Sailor Soldiers... eventually. For now though he will target regular people. Nephrite laughs at him having been defeated so easily and says that bringing him back was a bad idea. Kunzite spins this around and asks if he means that Beryl was foolish for bring him him back. Beryl sees what Kunzite is trying to do and tells them both to focus and that they must all work together. Kunzite then mentions that the Silver Crystal may have been stolen from the Moon Princess. Nephrite is surprised because he was the one having Youma follow Minako and Artemis.
 The next morning on her way to school Usagi sees Ami and runs up to her. Naru also arrives and there seems to be obvious tension between the two over how Ami treated Naru when Usagi was unconscious. Naru grabs Usagi and pulls her away from Ami. Ami sees this and is concerned over her friendship with Usagi.
Her feelings are worsened when after school, Usagi goes to karaoke with Naru and her school friends instead of hanging out with herself, Rei and Makoto.
 While in the karaoke foyer, Usagi and her friends run into Mamoru who had been talking to Motoki over if Usagi still likes him (Motoki is pretty sure that Usagi's over him). Motoki lets it slip that he was glad Mamoru was here the other day to carry Usagi home while she was sick. Naru hears this and begins to think that Usagi and Mamoru have great chemistry so that afternoon she tricks them both into meeting each other.
After the initial embarrassment they bump into a group of strange men who drop a suitcase full of jewellery which Usagi recognises as Minako's! The two follow the guys down into the car park and manage to steal their case and ride away on Mamoru's bike.
 Suddenly a Youma appears and moves towards Usagi. Mamoru jumps in front of her and is cut by the Youma's sword. The two struggle and Mamoru ends up being pushed over the rails to the level below. Usagi transforms into Sailor Moon and destroys the Youma with Moon Twilight Flash.
She finds Mamoru a little hurt but okay and the both of them ride home.
 Elsewhere, Minako and Artemis are getting ready to go somewhere. Artemis is concerned over what they did because now, Sailor Moon has been attacked by a Youma due to their ruse. Minako assures him that Sailor Moon is strong and that she will be fine.
At that moment, on top of a building, Ami, Makoto and Rei have gathered. Seems there have been reports of missing people that this spot is where the reports led them. Suddenly the roof opens up into a sandy trap (Sarlac style!). Makoto slips and falls in! Rei turns to Ami and yells, "TRANSFORM!".
Interesting Facts
 This is the only time we see Minako's home life in the series and while we see her say a quick word to a family member off screen, we never meet any of her family in person.
