| ![]() In celebration of Sailor Moon's 20th anniversary the manga was re-released once more in Japan in a "kanzenban" (or "complete") edition. While it's the same story as the first and second generation Japanese releases, the interior artwork has for the first time been digitally remastered and pages that had only been seen in colour in the original run in the magazine Nakayoshi have been fully reproduced (first and second gen Sailor Moon manga presented these pages in black and white). Brand new artwork has been created for the covers and the books themselves have been enlarged from the typical Japanese manga size to A5. In this release, volumes 1 through 10 contain the main Sailor Moon story arcs with the short stories inserted throughout. The short stories are not sold in their own special volumes like in the second gen. The final two volumes feature the Codename Sailor V manga. While an English version of this release is likely in the future, there has been no official plans revealed for it and is likely a way off. These third generation Kanzenban Sailor Moon manga volumes are simply stunning and even if you can't read Japanese, they're highly recommended! Each volume has an image and a link to where you can buy it online with stores I have personally used and can vouch for as well as a Pinterest "Pin It" button under the product image so you can pin it to your boards and share with your friends. Happy reading, Sailor Moon fans!
