Sailor Moon DVD Boxes and More News 

Happy Friday! Hope you've had a good week and are getting all your Christmas shopping done!

The biggest Sailor Moon news this week is the release of the first Sailor Moon DVD box. It's been selling really well according to this chart (though I'm not sure the actual rank) and has flown off shelves here in Japan with a lot of stores already being out of stock! Even Amazon has sold all of their reserves in just a few days! Don't worry if you've placed an order though, the boxes won't go out of print until December 2011 and all stores should be getting new stock soon.

Luckily I pre-ordered mine and got it as soon as it was released. If you haven't already you should check out my review of the box which includes photos of the slip, case, disks and extras. Will be adding screencaps and a screenshot comparison between the different releases tomorrow so check back soon!

This week I also updated the Sailor Moon Channel Archive with December's layout. I wonder if this will be the last update for 2009! Looking forward to creating a new page for the 2010 layout! :D

In other site news Moonkitty.net's reached 1000 followers on Twitter! Thank you to all my followers for following thus far and if you haven't followed yet, come on over and join the party! I'll be throwing a competition for a PGSM CD / Book Set in the New Year that will be held entirely on Twitter so you better get in early to be eligible!

As holidays are approaching, expect more updates in the near future such as new wallpapers, icons and some bigger developments in the Sailor Stars Episode Guide! The latest poll also suggests that you guys want some Sailor Moon Character Information too so you can expect Moonkitty.net's Character Guide to premiere sometime in the New Year after the Episode Guides are finished (and they almost are!). I'll also be answering as many Moonie Mailbag questions as time permits tomorrow as well.

Sailor Stars Episode Guide 

Well I guess having the flu must be good for something! Lots of free time to work on the site!

After a whole day's work I'm very happy to reveal my Sailor Stars Episode Guide!!!

Right now the main page is done and I have episode summaries for the first six episodes which covers the entire Nehelenia arc! Each guide has been fully screen-capped for your enjoyment.

I'll be adding to this and finishing off the SuperS guide bit by bit over the next months and looking forward to having the anime guide finished by Christmas!

I'm probably going back to work tomorrow but I've set aside a few hours to answer all those Moonie Mailbag questions that have been piling up in my inbox.

I'll also be replying to site emails, so if you've emailed me sometime since 1999, look forward to your response. ;)

Anyway now that I'm done with Nehelenia I thought it would be suiting to feature a Nehelenia music video this Moonie Music Monday. Thank God I managed to find a good one! :D

This one to Clowns by Tatu suits the character in almost every level! Let me know what you think!

Sailor Stars Music Video: Moonie Music Monday 

Public holiday in Japan today! Day off! Woooo!!!

Pretty soon I'll be starting on the Sailor Moon Sailor Stars Episode Guide so thought I'd get in the mood with a Sailor Stars music video!

Finding a quality one was actually pretty difficult but man was the search worth it!

This video has to be one of the best ones I've seen in a long time. Some superb editing with some great clips and a very cool song (turn up the volume!). Hope you like it as much as I did! Favourite this one!

WARNING: This music video has some pretty big spoilers from the final season of the Sailor Moon anime. If you haven't watched those episodes yet, I recommend bookmarking this and watching it after you've watched this amazing season.

Sailor Moon SuperS Episodes Complete! 

I can't believe it! After months and months of work I've finally finishes writing and taking screenshots for all the episodes in the fourth season of the anime, Sailor Moon SuperS!

Just added the episode guides for episodes 158 to 166 and also completed the guide for the Sailor Moon SuperS Movie: Black Dream Hole!

Now all I need to do is do the guides for the SuperS specials, the opening and closing credits and add the shopping information and then I can movie on to the epic final series, Sailor Stars!!!! Wooo Hooooo!!!!

Hope you had a great week! Bring on tomorrow and the weekend, eh? Let's start relaxing early with some Sailor Moon news!!!

Speaking of SuperS, this week's Moon Sticks comic features the SuperS villains, the Amazoness Quartet! Funny! Funny!

The great blog, Sailor Moon Obsession celebrated it's second anniversary this year! Congrats!

Also celebrating an anniversary is SailorCosmos.org which has turned 6!!! Woo Hoo!

The Deep Submerge Directory has updated with a sizzling hot new layout for summer! Great use of colour and spacing!

StarDusting continues to rock with some interesting computer game info and sprites.

Neo Nobility is revamping in August! Can't wait!

There's another great preview of the English Sailor Stars up here. Looking good!

Sailor Moon Abridged has made a special musical episode featuring those classic (and fun!) songs from the first few Pokemon seasons! Really worth checking out! lol! Over here!

And I think that's about it for this week!

Before I finish though, I think it's worth mentioning that I've been getting quite a few emails informing me of the Funimation poll by people who have just found it. While I thank you all for informing me of news, the poll is now two months old and Funimation has most likely got what they wanted from it.

I've also seen a few tweets lately by people who have emailed Funimation directly or met Funimation people at cons and have been told that Sailor Moon was just thrown into the poll at the last second out of curiosity and was not a series that they were planning to release.

Of course the HUGE response on the poll now probably has them thinking about getting Sailor Moon (and Sailor Stars) but I don't think the poll was as big as we all originally hoped.

You never know though. Sailor Moon's bound to be rereleased sooner or later. It's only a matter of time.

The last week or so I've been silently working on Moonkitty.net's next project and now it's ready to be revealed, the Sailor Moon SuperS Episode Guide!.

Currently summaries and screencaps for the first six episodes are done as well as several opening and closing credits, the episode bumper / eyecatch and the SuperS Uranus and Neptune Special!

I'll gradually be adding to this guide over the next month or so and will also be doing the relevant DVD reviews (expect the first very soon) and attack guides (not online yet).

Complete Sailor Moon S Episode Guide 

It's taken a lot of effort and even a computer crash over the last month or so but finally... finally I'm happy and proud to present to you Moonkitty.net's 100% Complete Sailor Moon S Illustrated Episode Guide!!!

All 37 anime episodes from Episode 90 to Episode 127 now have summaries, screencaps and miscellaneous trivia on their own specific pages.

I've also completed guides for all 11 opening and closing credits and the Sailor Moon S commercial bumpers / eyecatches!

The Sailor Moon S Movie: Hearts in Ice has also been done as well!!!

I'm so relieved that it's finished!!!

I would like to send out a big and special THANK YOU! to Corey of MoonlightSoldiers.com for taking the time to screencap the opening title screens off of his Sailor Moon S VHS tapes. You really helped me out man and I can't thank you enough.

Sailor Moon Roundup! 

God, I'm so happy with this new layout, especially after fixing the side columns last week! I can't stop looking at it! Yay!

Have been going into turbo drive with the Sailor Moon Episode Guides these past few days, writing heaps (and I mean heaps of new episode guides) but haven't got them online yet as my imac DVD drive is busted. Will be buying a new external drive on Monday (PAY DAY!!!) though so you should expect a HUGE content update in a few days time.

Now, is it just me or has the Sailor Moon fandom become really active these past few months? Quite a few fan films coming out or in production and a lot more websites seem to be updating this year than last year. Just goes to show that Sailor Moon isn't a fad after all!

On with the news:

Moon Sticks has the latest strip online featuring Kakyu and the Starlights!

The Deep Submerge Directory has added several sites as well as a new wallpaper and a featured music video by Hikaru Utada!

SailorCosmos.org is celebrating it's 6th Anniversary!!! Congrats!

And Chibiland is celebrating her 8th Anniversary!!!

Is that Mio skin at Kirari PGSM new?

The Oracle has updated with a great new feature, an archive of interviews concerning those involved in Sailor Moon! Great idea!

Sailor Moon Obsession continues to post great Sailor Moon related posts every week!

Check out a very short preview of a Sailor Moon fan film here.

Sailor Moon Abridged has another great clip online, this time of the promotional video created by DiC to attract investors (watch it if you haven't!).

The original is unintentionally funny enough by itself but their version is perfect! Haha! Even if you love the English version like me, you're sure to get a kick out of this!

Where to Buy Sailor Moon Musical DVDs 

Just a quick note to say that I've finished the Shopping Guides for the Sailor Moon Musical DVDs.

The late Miyuki Kanbe's Second Stage Musicals, Marina Kuroki's Second Stage Musicals and her Third Stage Musicals now all have DVD info up.

Unfortunately a LOT of Miyuki Kanbe's and a few of Marina Kuroki's DVDs are now out of stock in most online retailers so you may find a few regular dead text "links" where regular links are.

I think quite a few people should find these pages useful as I get quite a few people asking where to get the DVDs and a couple of the online stores make it almost impossible to find them (i.e. a search for "Sailor Moon" has zero results).

The Coming of Princess Kakyu 

Just saw the Sailor Moon Musical, SECOND STAGE FINAL: The Coming of Princess Kakyu for the first time and wrote the guide for it at the same time.

What a great musical! There have been so many "Sailor Stars" musicals but (as with all of Marina's musicals) they used the basic plot of the original, improved it dramatically, added lots of new characterisation and a bunch of new songs. Also lots of superior dance moves, special & visual effects and a hell of a performance by Yu Shirota which made him my number one favourite Tuxedo Mask out of all the actors that have played the role. Talk about talented! Check out this clip from the musical performing Kaze no Shijin / The Poet of the Wind:

Sailor Moon Roundup 

Quite a few sites updating for the New Year!

The Sailor Moon Funny Faces Gallery which has been updating heaps lately has updated again with some new icons, galleries and some sad news about someone direct linking to her site. This same person has also been doing the same to U&MUniverse.com.
For those that don't know, when you link to an image's location that is hosted on someone else's website (i.e. not yours) it costs that person money. For example if you post on discussion forums, you should ALWAYS upload your avatar to the forum itself instead of linking to it's web (http://) online location.
Direct linking is inconsiderate and in the worst case, insulting to the person who spent time to make the file as sometimes people even link to the files and claim that they made them.
P.S. All icons and avatars on Moonkitty.NET are free for use but please don't link to the files. Save them and them upload them to your own account for use. Wallpapers and other graphics are for users own personal use and cannot be uploaded to other websites.

Update: As I was writing this, Usagi from U&MUniverse.com emailed me to inform me that this ba*&@^%rd is direct linking to all of my Christmas icons!!! Grrrrrrr!!!! I've left a comment for him and emailed his hosting company asking them to delete his account or at least give him a warning. I'm a nice guy, but this won't be tolerated! It's costing me money, man!

There's an interesting discussion about the Sailor Moon rights going on over at Genvid.

I'm starting to feel a bit depressed. While working on my Sailor Moon Musical Guide I've been watching all the musicals (95% for the first time) and now I'm almost to the end! If you've seen every episode of the Anime and live action drama (PGSM), the Musicals are well worth your time. I've become an avid fan a lot quicker than I thought I would! I think I'd even place the Musicals over the Sailor Moon Anime!

And as I mentioned in my previous post, the official site has updated it's layout for the New Year and with it a message from Naoko Takeuchi.
Yesterday when I posted about this I sent an email off to a friend of mine who's a professional interpreter for a translation. Amazingly when I checked my email this morning, Elly (from SMFFG) emailed me with a translation as well as a graphic manipulated English version!
Furthermore, Lily (from BSSMLA) commented on the post and after speaking with Yosenex (a friend of mine and hers) gave me his translation.

It just really touched me that people would go out of their way to help me like this. So THANK YOU Elly, Lily, Yosenex and my anonymous friend.

In order, here's the professional translation:

"Last fall, Princess Naoko visited BANDAI Hobby Center in Shizuoka and had a site tour of GANPURA or Gandam Plamodel (plastic model) production lines and she said she had lots of fun. So it's basically about a visit to Bandai and an artwork she drew. What it doesn't mention is that Gundam is celebrating it's 30th Anniversary this year in Japan and several famous manga artists have drawn their characters in Gundam situations or costumes. Cool news is that it looks like the Sailor Moon Channel will be more active this year!

Miyuki Kanbe's Musicals 

I'm continuing the Second Stage Sailor Moon Musicals with three of the late Miyuki Kanbe's musicals which form the "Last Dracul Trilogy" (musical 1, musical 2 and musical 3) and the first musical of Marina Kuroki, Birth of the Princess of Darkness, Black Lady which also features one of the early Chibi Usa's returning in the role of the adult Black Lady!

Hope you all like them and find them useful! The hours and hours put into writing the summaries, taking the screencaps and coding the pages really takes it's toll. Shopping info will be added at a later date for those interested.

I know I say this all the time, but if you haven't seen a Sailor Moon Musical yet, don't just watch the random clips on YouTube. Check out an entire musical. It's a completely different experience!

P.S. On a more personal note, I'd like to thank everyone who's emailed me this past week (not you, Mr Viagra or you Miss Fat Loss) to wish me happy holidays, give me feedback or even ask me a question. Sailor Moon Anime Missing Episodes 

Some of you may have noticed that I've been cleaning up the Sailor Moon Anime Season One Episode Guide page a bit by cleaning up the coding, writing some more information and finally doing the episode guides for the famous "Missing Episodes" that were never adapted into English by DiC!

Currently three have been written and prettied up with screencaps:

Sailor Venus' Past, Minako's Tragic Love
The Sailor Warriors Die! The Tragic Final Battle &
Usagi's Everlasting Wish! A New Reincarnation

I've also got the guides up for the first and second Bumper (or Eyecatch) that accompanied each Sailor Moon episode in the first season.

Slowly but surely my anime guide is getting there!

p.s. Also if you haven't checked out my revampedSailor Moon Musical (Sera Myu) page, I highly recommend doing so. The musicals are simply fantastic yet I'd say 90% of Sailor Moon fans never give them a chance. Well worth your time guys!

Sailor Moon Musical Second Stage Guides 

Been doing a bit of work these past few days on cleaning up and adding to the Sailor Moon Musical Guide.

Wrote up a much needed introduction for the page as well as some info on the First Stage musicals featuring Anza Oyama.

Also have now finished two guides for the first two musicals in the Second Stage featuring Fumina Hara, Beginning of the New Legend and Legend of Kaguya Island.

SURPRISE!!! Sera Myu First Stage Performance Guide! 

Surprise! My secret project that I've been working on in secret for the past few months is now online! Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you the Sailor Moon Musical (Sera Myu) First Stage Performance Guide!!!

In addition to the first musical guide which I had written last year (and has now been cleaned up) I've now added a whopping six more to the new Sailor Moon Musical (Sera Myu) page.

I can't stress how much time went into these guides and I can now understand why no Sailor Moon sites ever have actual story summaries / guides to the Sailor Moon Musicals as most of them have a runtime of over 2 hours! which makes the whole process of watching one, writing the summary, taking the screencaps, resizing the images and making them pretty about 5+ hours each!

The rest of this week I'll be going through each one and adding bits of information here and there and making the whole thing just a bit more spiffy.

The Sailor Moon musicals (Sera Myu) has to be one of the less viewed versions of Sailor Moon and the main reason is that there's very little information about them. Hopefully this guide will make the fantastic Sailor Moon musicals more approachable and encourage a lot of new fans to give them a go.

Sailor Moon R Episodes Done! 

Have just done a big redesign on the Sailor Moon R Episode Guide with some added information, images and the episode guide for every Sailor Moon R episode!

I don't want to say it's complete as I still need to add shopping info for each episode as well as do guides for the openings and closings, etc but the summaries and screencaps for every episode (including the missing episode!) are done!

Sailor Moon Roundup 

Kirari-PGSM.net has done several new site updates whith some great avatars, video clips and more coming online this week!

If you're interested in following the live action Sailor Moon's Sailor Mercury, a new fansite has just opened and looks very promising.

ShadowGalactica.com has updated with several screenshot updates.

UsagiandMamoruUniverse.com is trying, in futile, (hehehe) to make more avatars than me. Good luck! ;) (Seriously, they're good, check them out!)
The site's also added some video clips and has been reviewed!

Chibiland has a nice page dedicated to it's 7th Anniversary which is really fun to read and has also uploaded several more chibi dolls!

For those that missed my report earlier this week; Kodansha will begin publishing manga in the US in September by themselves. This could well explain why they've been holding onto the Sailor Moon manga rights and could very well mean that we may finally be getting English translations of the new reprinted Sailor Moon manga! Pretty exciting! Still no updates to report concerning this though.

And as I mentioned yesterday, my Sailor Moon Season One Episode Guide / Summary has been completed! In the next week or so, I'm aiming for my Sailor Moon R Episode Guide to be finished in a similar fashion and then I'll go about finishing all the attacks and DVD reviews while I begin work on the Sailor Moon S Episode Guide and prepare a nice big surprise for everyone (I'll never tell!).

I've also begun planning Moonkitty.NET's 10th Anniversary which begins in April 2009 (nine months away!). I've got several exciting things planned for the site (10 years is pretty big!) and am thinking about throwing a real world party here in Tokyo (maybe Azabu Juban?) for any Sailor Moon fans who are in the neighbourhood and of course documenting it online with videos and pictures, etc.

Wow, I'm finally back into the Sailor Moon R Episode Summaries / Guides!

Sailor Moon Anime Updates 

Have been really ploughing through the Sailor Moon Anime Season One Episode Guide revamp with heaps of new episode guides now cleaned up, spell checked and visually cleaned for a better experience!

The following Sailor Moon episode guides have now been fixed: An Uncharmed Life, Nightmare in Dreamland, Cruise Blues, Fight to the Finish, Match Point for Sailor Moon, An Unnatural Phenomenon, Wedding Day Blues, Shutter Bugged, Dangerous Dollies, Who is that Masked Man?, An Animated Mess, Worth a Princess' Ransom and Molly's Folly.

The first English Dub Sailor Moon DVD Review is also online complete with menu screencaps!

Site and Stuff, Sailor Moon News Roundup 

Good Lord has this year gone fast!!! It seems like Moonkitty.NET was just turning 8 a few weeks ago and now there's only 2 months until it turns 9! That's just one more year until it turns 10!!! Pretty amazing!

With that big milestone coming up I've dedicated myself to getting a complete Sailor Moon anime episode guide online. Before I write and screencap any new anime episodes though I've started going back and reformatting, spell checking, and fixing up the episode guides for the first season.

Currently A Moon Star is Born, Talk Radio, Slim City, So Your Want to be a Superstar, Computer School Blues and Time Bomb have been fixed up.

As I've said previously I managed to pick up my Sailor Moon DVDs while I was back in Australia so will be adding Sailor Moon DVD reviews to the episode guide pages complete with DVD menu screencaps and more so it matches the Live Action Sailor Moon Episode Guide.

Once season one is finished, I'll move on to where I was up to in the second season, Sailor Moon R and move forward at a steady pace to do the Sailor Moon movies, Sailor Moon S, Sailor Moon SuperS, Sailor Moon Stars as well as the undubbed episodes and specials.

The Sailor Moon Attacks are also being cleaned up with the broken links being fixed (you can all stop emailing me now! Haha. But thanks for caring!) and several attacks now finally having their separate pages for the anime, manga and live action versions.

Among these are Moon Disguise Power [anime] and Moon Disguise Power [manga], Mercury Bubbles Blast [manga] and and Mercury Aqua Mist [live action Mercury Bubbles Blast].

I've also started the long and arduous job of finally cleaning up the Sailor Moon Shopping and Review Guide. A work in progress. ;)

Those of you who are regulars to this site may have noticed that the Moonie Music Monday has been missing so far in 2008. Don't worry. I've just been really busy getting back into the groove of things after the holidays and it will be back tomorrow as per usual! Hurrah!

UsagiandMamoruUniverse.com has some great new icons and a new wallpaper!

Still A Moonie (great concept!) has a new layout... or is it just me? Love those old manga images of Sailor Moon with the mask.

The Official Japanese Sailor Moon Site has updated with a day in the life of Mamoru and a Mailbox that's actually interesting! Someone asks where Sailor Moon lives and are told that it's a mystery but somewhere in the heart of Tokyo. (most likely referring to the superhero persona and not Usagi/Serena whom we know lives in Azabu Juban). Hilariously, someone also asks about how long it takes for the Sailors to transform! And the official answer is.... while it looks like it takes a while, the transformations actually happen instantly. You heard it here guys and gals. We now know why the baddies never attack during those 5 minute stock footage scenes! :D

Sailor Moon Returns - Sailor Moon Roundup 

It's begun! I've finally started the episode guide for the second season of the anime, Sailor Moon R! So far the first five episodes are online as well as Sailor Moon's new main attack for the season, Moon Sceptre Elimination. Hope you guys and gals like it!

Now on to some site news elsewhere in the internet:

The Oracle has continued her Japanese Sailor Moon episode guides. As she says they really aren't that different from the English episodes but if you want to check out the episodes with the subtle differences, The Oracle is the site to check out. Thanks for the plug, btw!

UsagiandMamoruUniverse.com has revamped with a completely new layout featuring the live action Usagi and Mamoru! One of the best layouts I've seen in a LONG time! Well done!

The very cool Fighter4Luv English dub of Sailor Stars is going along very nicely and they've released some test footage which features their new Luna and Amy voice actresses here. (They're actually the same person!) Also in the same topic is a sample of their Tuxedo Mask which sounds very promising!

Also on this dub, the previously mentioned poll concerning changing Hotaru's name to "Tara" has been restarted and moved here. Let your voice be heard! Which name do you prefer?

The Deep Submerge Directory has updated though no Site of the Month this month. Oh, well!

Sailor Moon Anime Episode Guide Revamp 

Have begun the revamp of my Sailor Moon Anime Episode Guide which had been long overdue but partly impossible due to the attacks also needing a revamp as well.

The main page is still the same URL address but it is now a main menu of sorts for several sub sections. With 200 episodes plus movies and specials and the need to write about the show it was really needed and will now make navigation easier, cleaner and faster than before.

The huge article I wrote previously has been given it's own page and is now the first of three articles that will be written to help educate both Moonies and newbies alike in everything related to the Sailor Moon anime.
The first article covers information pertaining to the whole series though focuses on the first two. The second article will cover information on the S and SuperS seasons and the Cloverway dub while the final article will cover the final series, Sailor Stars.

The actual Episode Guides themselves have been given their own season focused sub pages. What I'm particularly pleased with is the choice of three pictures which link to the three strongest episodes of each season. I think it just looks spiffy and is useful too. You can see the new pages for the Complete Sailor Moon Anime Season 1 Episode Guide and the Second Season, Sailor Moon R (in progress) as you read this.

Expect some big developments concerning the Sailor Moon Musical Guide and Attack Guide later this week.

Sailor Moon Attack Revamps 

Guess what? The live action Sailor Moon attacks are now 100% complete!!! Have just uploaded my guides for Sailor Jupiter's Unnamed Ground Attack, Sailor Mercury's Star Attack, Sailor Mars' Star Attack and Sailor Venus' Star Attack.

In addition to these I added some more screencaps and info to Sailor Jupiter's Star Attack and began the planned revamp of all of the attacks starting with Sailor Moon's "Sailor Hearing" manga and anime pages as well as her "Sailor Vision" move and the manga and anime pages for the "Sailor Scream" attack.

Still working with Sailor Moon's attacks, I finally made two separate manga and
anime pages for the famous Moon Tiara Magic attack and added additional information to both and rewrote some of the information to make it just sound better and be more informative.

The Complete Live Action Sailor Moon Episode Guide! 

I've done it! With the addition of the Super Dance Lesson and the 2nd bumper my Live Action Sailor Moon Episode Guide is now complete! Added some more information on the guide's page and will be proof reading the entire guide in the next day or so fixing any broken links or attack information. I did it!!! This makes Moonkitty.NET the first Sailor Moon site to have a 100% complete episode guide for the live action version of Sailor Moon and I'm absolutely thrilled! Act Zero, Hina and Tuxedo Mask Guides Online! 

A few keep readers may have noticed that I've now completed the episode guides for the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Act Zero Sailor V prequel episode as well as the Hina... Afterwards and Birth of Tuxedo Mask short films! The Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Episode Guide has been updated to include all these additions and I've also reorganised the episode listing order into a more chronological order to make reading or watching these episode more logical. PGSM Special Act

PGSM Final Act Attacks Online 

After lots of procrastinating I've finished all the attack guides for the new attacks/weapons that appeared in the super Final Act which includes, Sailor Moon's unnamed world healing power, Sailor Mercury's third and final Mercury Sword, Sailor Mars' (and Sailor Venus') Mars and Venus Daggers and Sailor Jupiter's awesome Jupiter Spear. The only attack guides left to write are Jupiter's live action only ground attack, the Star Tambourine Star Attacks and one or two that will appear in the Act Zero and Special Act guides which should also be online very shortly. As soon as all the live action episode guides are online (and I'm including the short stories and Dance Lesson) and the attacks are finished I'll do some much needed resorting and probably throw all the attacks into their own subpage to make navigating just that little bit easier. Kirari Super Live and Tuxedo Smoking Bomber 

Got a surprise for you today! Just finished the guide to the live action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Kirari Super Live event! Lots of fun and well worth a read! Also completed the review for the Kirari Super Live DVD which is surprisingly very different from the other DVDs in the series. Sailor Moon Roundup 

Guess what! I've completed the main episode guides in the live action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Episode Guide! All I have left now are the DVD only specials and the musical performance! Woooo!!! Oh, and a few... HUNDRED attacks. ;) The Oracle has been updating a bit lately with some episode info and Sailor Moon Musical content as well as some encyclopaedia additions. Way to go! SailorWar.net also has some new info up. If you haven't seen this new site yet, make sure you do! A new Auction Spotlight has been added to the right hand menu. Pretty cool! Updates automatically with the latest Sailor Moon online auctions. One of my favourite live action sites, Kirari-PGSM has updated yet again with a completely new layout (nice!) as well as some cool costume analysis for you cosplayers. Cool new music videos too! The Fighter4Luv Sailor Stars English Dub has released a very cool trailer for the upcoming episodes! Seriously watch this trailer! Incredibly well done! Email and Feed readers click HERE. Genvid has uploaded videos of the PGSM panel at Otakon HERE. Pretty cool though some of the speach was hard to make out. SailorMoonLinks.com has been updating a bit as well. That's a bout for Sailor Moon news this week! Concerning site updates, expect the final live action Sailor Moon DVD (from the regular set anyway) to be online soon as well as a lot more attacks. Will also be cleaning up the site a bit more graphically (you may have noticed some changes here and there) and seeing what I can do for Internet Explorer users as the site just looks crap for them. Sailor Luna and Jupiter Attacks 

Phew! Finally finished all of the attacks that were introduced in the seventh live action DVD which means we now have attack guides for Sailor Luna's rare teleport power and rather useless yet funny fan attack as well as Sailor Jupiter's Thunderbolt and very cool Star Attack I've also finally gotten around to doing the quick guide for Sailor Moon's healing powers. I've found some really interesting cultural notes for all of these attacks so even if you know about them check 'em out for the extra info I've added. Some Sailor Moon Attacks

Super Eternal Episode Guide Update 

Man it's been a busy week but I've managed to get back on schedule with a whopping 8 episode guides for the live action Sailor Moon Episode Guide! Phew! Acts 21 to 28 are now covered and they've been a blast to write about! Not only do you get the Moon Princess revelation but the introduction of Sailor Luna, Dark Sailor Mercury and the exit of Hina (I didn't remember myself hating her this much when I first watched the show). A huge amount of new attacks as well as a new opening and closing credits were introduced in these episodes so I haven't had time to write all of the pages for them yet but they will be up soon so keep checking back for updates! Live Action Sailor Moon Guide Update 

Just added 5 new Acts to the live action Sailor Moon episode guide, Act 8, Act 9, Act 10, Act 11 and Act 12. In an attempt to improve the episode guide I decided to get my hands on several of the live action Sailor Moon DVDs and redid all of the screencaps in the existing guides. No more clock in the upper right hand corner! Much better don't you think? I've also added three new live action attacks to the attack guide: Flower Hurricane, Shine Aqua Illusion and Crescent Beam which signal a revamp of the attack guide. I've decided to separate each version of the attacks. For example there are now three pages for Venus' Crescent Beam attack. One for manga, one for anime and one for live action. Live Action Revamp & Site Review 

Completely cleaned up the Live Action Sailor Moon Episode Guide by fixing the spacing around the images to make it look better on the eyes, adding spiffy heading effects and resorting them all into their own subdirectory in preparation for the new episode guides for the series that I'll be starting later this week. Because of all this the links to the individual live action episode guides have been renamed and moved but the main live action index page is the same to make it easier for those who have bookmarked it or linked to it on your own sites. Something completely new to the site which you may have noticed is the "Get Paid to Review My Post" buttons after every update on the main page. I was after some site feedback and came across PayPerPost which actually pays people to review my site and thought, "Hey, that's alright!". Sailor Moon Season One Anime Episode Guide Complete! 

Have just uploaded a whopping eight episode guides and you know what that means??? The Season One Episode Guide is complete! All 40 episodes now have guides which include episode summary, screencaps, extra info and DVD shopping info! It's taken me a while to get here (been doing episode guides for my Tsubasa and xxxHolic sites as well) and I'm so happy I made it! The rest of this week I'll be going through the entire guide and doing proof reading, spell checking, link correcting and funny comment adding to make it the best it can be before completing some more attacks and then picking up the live action Sailor Moon (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon) episode guide once more. Yeah, I've decided on the live action guide for several reasons; As far as I know not one site has a completed live action guide yet, it's a show not that many people have seen and some people didn't even know there was a live action show to begin with, so it's a necessary and useful project to do methinks. Episode Guide Update 

Just finished the guides for episodes 31: A Reluctant Princess and 32: Bad Hair Day and realised that I've been spelling "Interesting Facts" wrong in all of my episode guides. That's what I get for copying and pasting and possibly being dyslexic. :\

I NEED YOUR HELP 

Well in a week or so, I should have finished the guide to the first season of the Sailor Moon anime which is great but I'm now not sure what to do next.

I've been dying to finish (and fix) the guide for the live action Sailor Moon show for ages now, but then I'm enjoying watching these anime episodes again and would find completing the guide to Sailor Moon R satisfying as well. I just can't decide what to do!

This is where you come in. While I'll always do things that I like doing I also want to do something that you, the reader will enjoy reading and find useful so I'm going to let you guys decide.

If you want me to continue the anime guide and do Sailor Moon R, please post a comment to this post below. If you want me to do the live action guide, also let me know. Hell, if you'd prefer me to do more guides for the musicals or even the manga please say so as well.

Mercury Power! 

Have just uploaded several new episode guides, the coolest one being Computer School Blues which features the first appearance of Sailor Mercury!

I've also been doing subtle changes here and there in the episode guide involving image spacing and alt attributes which is taking a while but will be worth it in the long run. I still feel fairly confident about finishing the first anime season episode guide by the end of this month, if not by the first week of March.

Mercurius on the Genvid forums stumbled across this interesting Sailor Moon sighting, a Sailor Moon themed hotel room in Santa Fe! Sunday - Thursday :: $219 per night, Friday, Saturday, Holidays, & High Season :: $269 per night, Additional Guests :: $40 per person per night, Rates are for single or double occupancy. High season is May 11-October 14. Bizarre right?

In other, more official news, the official site has uploaded and animated a new chapter of the manga. Only in Japanese though.

In site news, I'm seriously expecting to have finished the Sailor Moon anime first season guide by the end of this month. Seriously. Look forward to it! Expect several attack guides to be added as well.

First Sailor Moon Musical Guide Online! 

This has taken me a lot longer than I thought it would to do this! Normally an episode guide takes an hour to watch and write a guide and another half hour to take the screencaps. To do everything for a musical.... man it took me HOURS!!! No wonder Sailor Moon sites don't have in depth guides to the musicals!

The anime and live action guides are still the priority as far as guides go but I've decided to do a musical every now and then as I want Moonkitty.NET to cover all aspects of Sailor Moon.

I will be getting a proper introduction page up for the musicals like I do for the anime and live action guides but for now you can read my guide to the very first Sailor Moon musical from 1993, Alternate Legend: Dark Kingdom Revival Story!

Episodes, Attacks and Affiliates! 

First of all to my wonderful affiliates old and new I'm in the middle of reorganising the way I link to everyone so don't worry, if a link isn't working it will be fixed within 24 hours. Currently I've created brand new 31x31 buttons for everyone and added them to the right hand menu. All I have to do now is activate them The descriptions on the link page will remain where they are as an added bonus. Feel free to use the buttons I made for your site in your own "Link Us" section.

Secondly while a lot of you were expecting Crystal Clear Destiny to be the next episode guide... The "LI" html was just looking boring and messed with some of the layout so I was after a change.

Artemis will be for Character and Items, Luna for Attacks, Diana for Misc and if you see a Luna P icon around here, click on it to watch a video clip.

Just upped a new episode guide to Episode 28 and a quick guide to the Opening Credits. I'll be adding more to the Opening Credits page as time goes on, but I just wanted to get it online.
