Nah, just kidding. but wouldn't it be great? Seriously though, every day I expect some anime news site to break the news about a new Sailor Moon anime series. With all these old series getting relaunched or turned into movies, the time just seems so right for a new version of Sailor Moon to pop up. Why hasn't it happened yet? Most likely due to the copyrights being held up in Japan by Toei and possibly Naoko Takeuchi herself.

It really is only a matter of time though. Did you know next year will be 10 years since the final episode of Sailor Stars (Episode 200) aired? Fingers crossed!

There's a possibility of The Deep Submerge Directory hosting a massive Sailor Moon website awards! Interested? Head on over there and mention how great it would be in the guestbook!!! Something like this would really motivate Sailor Moon webmasters and reinvigorate the Moonie community!

Ballads and Bows has recruited even more reviewers!

SeraMyu Antics has a brand new domain name, www.SeraMyuAntics.net! It's an excellent site full of Sailor Moon musical goodness! Check it out!

SailorMoonCards.eu has completely revamped their site and updated some content too!

Gaia Online has now added several other colour themed schoolgirl outfits to help all Sailor Moon fans cosplay their avatars into any Sailor Scout they wish! The February exclusive donation item though holds the mascot, heart wand, background bubbles and Super Bow.

In site news I've been cleaning up the Affiliates once more so those sites that haven't updated within the last 356 days have been removed from the side menu. They are however in the links page. If you have been removed from the side and you've just updated your site, email me to let me know you're active again and I'll re-add you.

Again a reminder for all new affiliate applications I am now going by a new policy that Moonkitty.NET must be linked to on EVERY PAGE of your site. Not just the splash page or links page. Speaking of splash pages, I will no longer link to these as I feel they waste visitors' time so instead I will link to the pages they lead too. Please let's leave splash pages in the early 90s where they belong. :D

Have been really ploughing through the Sailor Moon Anime Season One Episode Guide revamp with heaps of new episode guides now cleaned up, spell checked and visually cleaned for a better experience!

The following Sailor Moon episode guides have now been fixed: An Uncharmed Life, Nightmare in Dreamland, Cruise Blues, Fight to the Finish, Match Point for Sailor Moon, An Unnatural Phenomenon, Wedding Day Blues, Shutter Bugged, Dangerous Dollies, Who is that Masked Man?, An Animated Mess, Worth a Princess' Ransom and Molly's Folly.

The first English Dub Sailor Moon DVD Review is also online complete with menu screencaps!

In other site news I would like to welcome our new affiliate, the newly redesigned Ballads & Bows a really cool Sailor Moon song / music review site. Check it out!

In other site news, I've started work on the Sailor Moon R episode guide so expect some growth there in the next few days and am plotting out how to do my Sailor Moon Musical guide.

I'm also experimenting with a new program (I was invited to join the Beta testing! Yay!) called ShoppingAds to help cover expenses. You can see the result on the left hand side menu with the Sailor Moon items up for grabs. I'm surprised with the amount of cool products on display actually. The new Affiliate rule that I mentioned last week has been implemented. Those sites that haven't been updated within the last 364 days have been removed from the side menu though they are still linked in the Web Links page. It just seemed unfair to be offering these sites such high exposure when their sites are offline, broken or static since 2003. ;)

If you're the owner of one of the removed sites, simply update your site and email me to let me know and I'll place your site back on the menu with the rest.

Have been cleaning up the site a bit and have decided to implement a new policy regarding Moonkitty.NET's affiliates.

While I love you all, from now on if your site hasn't been updated within the last 365 days I will remove the small button on the right hand menu. Don't worry though, your site will still be linked with all the other affiliates in the Links Page. It just seems unfair to give free advertising to sites that are no longer updated when there are more active ones that deserve more exposure.

Again, I love all my affiliates (and the webmasters and webmistresses of course!) so I hope this doesn't offend anyone. Besides a whole year to update a site (even if it's just a message on the main page to say you're not dead) isn't asking too much.

I will begin sifting through affiliates in the next day or so. If I do remove your site from the side menu and you update your site, just email me, letting me know and I'll place your link up again. :D

In other site news, I've added the gift Icera gave me for finishing my live action guide to the Gifts and Awards Page and begun cleaning up the attack guide.

I also added a Site Search powered by Google to the lower right corner for those who may be having trouble finding the page they're after and changed the Quick Links to Weekly Features to tell people about the Sailor Moon Roundup and Moonie Music Monday weekly events.

Welcome to the latest Sailor Moon Roundup fellow Moonies!!! First up is a rather cool site I found that features a virtual Sailor Moon that you can talk to! It's actually really very cool! You can type in anything and she'll reply (for the most part) on topic! I typed in "I went to school today" for example, and she replied "Did you learn anything useful?" It's surprisingly addictive! Check it out HERE. You may have noticed our new cool pink site feed button and rewritten intro text at the top of the page! Quite a few people couldn't find our site feed so I decided to make it more in your face. If you find these posts useful and want to stay up to date with all the latest Sailor Moon news give the feed a go. The trendiest Sailor Moon website directory on the web, Deep Submerge has updated it's listings once again. No Site of the Month this week but the news of a revamp has me very excited! We have a new affiliate, Sailor-Games.com! Welcome aboard! AnimeonDVD has a report from Anime Central 2007 that mentions "Toei currently has a lockdown on all Sailor Moon licenses, but Geneon may be interested if the situation changes.". This is very cool though it's also been said that Mixx is interested in releasing the Sailor Moon manga as well but nothing can happen because of Toei either. Come on Toei! Give us what we want! The music video site, Tsuki Mubi has updated with several bits of info converning YouTube and a contest update. Anyone who hasn't checked out the new Sailor Moon site, SailorWar.net should do so. Some very well written content there. Chibiland has updated by removing their splash page! Woo Hoo! Here's hoping all the other webmasters follow suit! Dreamlight Destiny has also updated. A great site well worth a look. Neo Nobility updates once again (You Go Girl!) with a sneak peek at her upcoming revamp! Moonkitty.NET has just uploaded a page about Sailor Mercury's ice sword! ;) In Closing... The Official Sailor Moon Website has done a complete overhaul. Very pink and very flashy now. For those that haven't been following the site, the whole manga series is being animated into flash with music and sound effects. Still in Japanese though Like this site? Just added 5 new Acts to the live action Sailor Moon episode guide, Act 8, Act 9, Act 10, Act 11 and Act 12. In an attempt to improve the episode guide I decided to get my hands on several of the live action Sailor Moon DVDs and redid all of the screencaps in the existing guides. No more clock in the upper right hand corner! Much better don't you think? I've also added three new live action attacks to the attack guide: Flower Hurricane, Shine Aqua Illusion and Crescent Beam which signal a revamp of the attack guide. I've decided to separate each version of the attacks. For example there are now three pages for Venus' Crescent Beam attack. One for manga, one for anime and one for live action. It looks a LOT neater and easier to navigate. Enjoy and expect more on a regular basis! Like this site? Kirari-PGSM.net has a sparkly new layout worth checking out. Very clean and features a great blend of layout and graphic. My wonderful affiliate Innocent-Ami.com also has changed it's layout and it's her best one yet! SMFanFiction.net has started their very own Sailor Moon fan fiction themed podcast and it's really good! The webmistress kind of turns the submitted fan fiction into an audio book. Crystal clear audio, a great selection of stories plus competitions and more and this is just in the first podcast! I'm not really into fan fiction but I still found this an enjoyable and high quality listen. Give it a go. Those who have been in the Moonie community since the golden age (late 90s) will remember the classic site, SailorMoon.org that has been recently resurrected. Well now the great MoonGrams Sailor Moon themed newsletter has been revived as well! You can read the first of the new volume here and the second one here. Expect the third (for May) to be released any day now. The always classy, Icera has revamped her Sailor Moon site review site, Star Garden Reviews into a general anime site review site called, Review Avenue. First of all to my wonderful affiliates old and new I'm in the middle of reorganising the way I link to everyone so don't worry, if a link isn't working it will be fixed within 24 hours. Currently I've created brand new 31x31 buttons for everyone and added them to the right hand menu. All I have to do now is activate them The descriptions on the link page will remain where they are as an added bonus. Feel free to use the buttons I made for your site in your own "Link Us" section.

Secondly while a lot of you were expecting Crystal Clear Destiny to be the next episode guide... I've found my earlier episodes and have decided to go back and do the first few episodes I had missed out on doing before so today we have guides to episodes 1 - 4 of Sailor Moon! Naturally I've updated several attacks with anime screencaps from these episodes. Hope you like them!

Was doing a few more tweaks to the layout tonight and made the very hard decision to remove the affiliate buttons on the right and side and make them super prominent links in the Web Links Section instead. All those buttons were just causing too much scrolling and load time on slower connections.

Hopefully you'll be pleased with the focus I've given them on the links pages with descriptions for each as well as being placed on the top of the page. If you're an affiliate and you have a problem with this, please let me know I'm open to suggestions though I think this should be fine.

I also removed the "Link Me" buttons and placed them with in the appropriate page as well as removed all but my fave misc graphics and placed those in the Web Links page as well.

In other site news we have two new attacks; Venus' Rolling Heart Vibration and Sailor Planet Attack. Expect them both to be expanded as the anime and live action guides get closer to completion. You can view them both and all the other attacks on the Sailor Moon Guides main index.

Tonight I've been doing several episode guides but am saving them for a huge batch update later on in the month. Something to look forward to!

Quite a 24 hour period! Have just affiliated with another amazing (and personal favourite) Sailor Moon site, UsagiandMamoruUnivers.com!

That makes 21 affiliates! Am thinking I'll have to change how I link to everyone though I'm not sure about resorting to super small 32x32 buttons. I want to think of another way.

In other site news, I've decided to remove "reporters" from the blog. Noone seems to be using the feature anyway and I'm feeling just really protective of Moonkitty.NET lately after my passion for it has been reinvigorated.

This is definitly nothing against the people who have or even havn't been reporting. I just feel like making the site 100% me again.
