Hello and welcome to Moonkitty.net, a Sailor Moon fansite dedicated to all incarnations of the series from the manga and anime to the musicals and live action tv series!
Sarah was a joy to interview and offered some great insight into her time on Sailor Moon and Ugly Betty. Thank you Sarah!
Go check it out and let others know about it too!
While I'm thanking people I want to thank everyone who's emailed me recently telling me how much you appreciate Moonkitty.net. I haven't had the time to reply to emails for the past few weeks and will definitely reply soon. Just want to let you all know how much these emails mean to me. They really encourage me to keep the site going and make some new content for you all to enjoy!
Recently I had the pleasure to sit down and interview the wonderfully skilled voice actress of the Sailor Moon anime's first villain Queen Beryl, Naz Edwards!
She's an absolute legend and offers some great insight into the early years of the English dub.
In other news I've been blown away by the amount of entries in the competition! Seriously over 60 or so in just a day! Keep them coming guys!
Also don't forget that the second new Sailor Moon anime DVD Box Set comes out tomorrow. I've preordered mine here and I suggest doing the same if you haven't already. After the first box was released, Amazon was "out of stock" days after it's release!
Naturally expect my review with photos and screencaps this weekend. I'll also be adding screencaps to the first review as well. ;)
Hey there! Hope you've had a great week! Halloween is now over and it's time to get ready for Christmas! If you're after Sailor Moon related icons, images and wallpapers make sure you check out my Sailor Moon Christmas Mini Site which has heaps of media and things to do.
Will be adding more and more to it as Christmas approaches!
Something else you should do is vote on who your favourite Sailor Soldier is on the new poll on the left hand side menu! Who will be the most popular? Am thinking of changing this poll every month or so so make sure to vote soon!
Also I want to thank Charlotte for donating! Thank you so much, I need all the help I can get right now to pay for hosting, domain renewal and general expenses! Cheers x100!!!
A super Moonie has used the Japanese Region 2 DVD (which has remastered picture) and the English VHS (which used the DiC dub music) to create an amazing Sailor Moon R movie experience!!! I'm a big fan of the DiC music (actually thought it worked better in several places, as much as I like the original music) so I'm loving this! If you're a DiC fan, check it out!
Got another big treat for you this week! Moonkitty.net's 10th Anniversary surprises continue this week with an exclusive interview with the voice actor of Alan (from the Doom Tree) and Tuxedo Mask, Vincent Corazza!
It was such an honor interviewing Vincent Corazza who had some very interesting things to say when asked about being a voice actor and what it was like working on the series during it's original run, the production of the movies and finally with S and Supers. Make sure you give it a read!
Because of this great news I've decided to dedicate this week's Moonie Music Monday to Tuxedo Mask with this hilarious music video to the song "Spy Hard" by Weird Al Yankovic.
Hey there! Been having a great week! How's yours been!
I want to thank all my followers on Moonkitty.net's Twitter Account who commented on my tweet about this Sailor Moon book. It does sound pretty good and am surprised I hadn't seen it before. Will probably pick it up after New Years. Thanks everyone for the Moonie love!
In other site news you may have noticed some slight reformatting of the side menus with several things changed, added or removed.
Something that I've added is the donation button on the lower right side. The expenses of living in Japan have really begun to impact my life recently (couldn't afford to renew the domain for my xxxHolic site for example) and I've been putting so much time and effort into Moonkitty.net recently I'm kind of hoping this will justify that.
If you see something you like on Moonkitty.net and you've got some extra change lying around I'd more than appreciate any assistance you can give.
I'm not begging though and I will never make this site a "pay site" and I'm definitely not selling out. Just throwing the option out there for those that would like to help me out. Again, I'm not begging and there's seriously no pressure at all to donate. I love all of you equally. (Those who do donate though will have their name and website listed on the right menu as a thank you pressie from me.)
Now, for what you came here for, the Sailor Moon Roundup!
This week I was lucky enough to officially interview the voice actress who played Sailor Moon in Sailor Moon S and SuperS as well as Snow Queen Kaguya in the Sailor Moon S movie, Linda Ballantyne!
We really had fun talking to each other and discussed quite a few things I think fans have been wondering about concerning the English dub of the third and fourth seasons.
What are you waiting for?! Give it a read and feel more than free to comment below.

p.s. Feel free to link to this interview but please refrain from copying and pasting it onto your own site or forum. Thanks. :D
Bit of a late Moonie Music Monday but wanted to finish some site updates to post along with this amazing performance!
English speaking Sailor Moon Musical fan productions beware! These German fans will really show you how it's done!
Great singing, choreography and an inspired decision to have the Outers in their manga planetary princess dresses! Brilliant!!!
And now that you've picked your jaw off the floor, here are some cool site updates!
I've been amazed at the response to the Moonie Mailbag! A lot of people have been sending in questions this week and some of them are pretty good questions too!
I'll be answering a few more as the day goes on so you may see a few empty pages for some questions but they should only be like that for an hour or so.
Also today I've uploaded a very interesting interview with the owner of Chibi Land and MoonSticks, Chibi Jen! Make sure to give it a read.
The Moonie Idol, Icera and I have been conducting an interview via email over the past few weeks and we've just finished it and it's been uploaded in the Interview section here for everyone's enjoyment!
In other news, I've got a new affiliate, the very cool Sailor Moon computer game site, Sailor-Games.com! Check it out for all your Sailor Moon rommy goodness!

In an attempt to improve the episode guide I decided to get my hands on several of the live action Sailor Moon DVDs and redid all of the screencaps in the existing guides. No more clock in the upper right hand corner! Much better don't you think?
I've also added three new live action attacks to the attack guide: Flower Hurricane, Shine Aqua Illusion and Crescent Beam which signal a revamp of the attack guide. I've decided to separate each version of the attacks. For example there are now three pages for Venus' Crescent Beam attack. One for manga, one for anime and one for live action. It looks a LOT neater and easier to navigate.
Enjoy and expect more on a regular basis!

I can't remember how I stumbled across the The Ohio SeryMyu Group but as soon as I did I knew I just had to email Amanda and ask her for more information about this Sailor Moon musical group she's putting together.
Thankfully she agreed and this is the interview we had over several emails. Enjoy.
Thanks so much for taking the time for this interview! Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
My name's Amanda, I'm 19 years old. I first got into Sailor Moon when I was a little girl, and it's been with me ever since.
I discovered the Sailor Moon Musicals not all too long ago, but fell in love with them immediately. I've been a big fan of musicals for many years, so I definitely was excited to see both interests come together to create an amazing stage production. Currently I'm working to go to college in the future. Eventually, I would like to travel and experience different cultures and languages first hand.
Wow. You're only 19 and you're organising your own theatre group pretty much! What kind of things do you expect your group to do?
For now, we're taking things kind of slow, while we get to know each other better. We have one performance planned for the group at the moment, which will just be one song. From there, I'll have a better idea of how everyone does in an actual performance, and be able to take the group to a new level. I hope to be able to perform many songs with the group, and make memories as friends doing something we all enjoy.
I guess I have to ask, you'll be singing the Sailor Moon Musical song in Japanese right? How's everyone's Japanese in the group?
