This second closing is very similar to the first one but when you compare the two closely you realise that it's been completely reanimated!

Serena's (Usagi's) hair now blows in the wind at different speeds, Tokyo has been completely removed from the background, creating a more secluded feel, and the water is now animated, showcasing a cool ripple effect.

The biggest and most obvious change would have to be the shot of Serena's head. Her hair is now animated instead of a static drawing and now has a much greater impact. The smallest change that many don't notice is that Tuxedo Mask, instead of appearing on the far right like before, now materialises out of nowhere halfway across the screen.
