I have no idea who I want to nominate, I haven't finished checking out the websites so I can have a good idea of what's out there, but maybe....

Brad read my personal LJ when you have time. I can't say much here because this box is so small haha, but thanks to those of you who are so into the DS awards as for us turning 7, shrug, like Ellethwen said...it wasn't supposed to be a big deal. I just noted it as a revamp point so don't go all super-frazzled about it. If I wanted to celebrate I would have done so in er February.
 

Jeaz. If I really wanted to get all old n stuff I'd mention that B&B has been around for almost 5 years now, but since the re-opening I don't really count anymore. Websites aren't serious business Ellethwen, get over it. >_> In your "three serious years" you've managed to complete miss the point of having a website at all: to express YOURSELF and have fun. Pull the stick out and keep nastiness to yourself, kthnx.

Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon began in 1992 so how is The Oracle able to create a site on Sailormoon when it didn't even exist yet...oh anyways I just remembered that, excuse the SPAM.
 

Thanks for the plug [blush] I wasn't making a big deal about it, since I totally dropped the ball last year, when a celebration would be more appropriate. (Don't know what comment #4 is on about; there's not a lot out there older than 1997-1996..! And I think I know most of those site owners, lol! Weird how small the fandom can get sometimes.)
 

Actually Elly, I know Ellthwen myself, and if anyone knows how to express herself it's her. Her post would hardly count as nastiness, but more like constructive criticism. And please do her a favor, and mind your own business.
 

Funny that you need to step up and defend Ellethwen, Slasher. Shouldn't you be minding YOUR own business since I'm typing to her? Not to mention, what goes on at MK is my business, being as I'm affiliated with Brad and all. STFU n00b, and try not to add in the middle school "omg i know my friend better than you do" drama. It's hardly relevant to the discussion.
 

And she means when it becomes 2009, it will be 17 years. So once again, if Brad would have checked his email, then we could have kept this matter private.
 

First off, being affiliated is basically being a friend. You'd have to be stupid to miss that. Your basically doing the same thing I am doing, so your have no right to step in and say that.
 

You know what?

The big drama llama was not what I wanted to get involved with. This was meant to be kept to E-mail and the only reason I posted it here was because I didn't get any sort of response which was what one would expect, however that was because Yahoo! was being stupid again and sorted it into my trash.

But I am bowing out of the commentshere right now because once again, drama here was not what I expected.

And yes Elly. I do know that one should express themselves on their website. It's pretty obvious that I do however you seem to have missed some of the things in my post. And maybe I missed some of yours. However I don't think websites are extremely important, That was a point I was trying to make TO Brad, because I think that maybe a full-blown real-life party for a website is just too much. It is called an opinion but I'm sure you knew that.

I'm stepping out now and I will take this as gracefully as possible. Upon review I should have checked my trash in the first place but that went over my head and apparently I'm going to become a hated member of the SM community.
 

I have to apologize as well seeing as I started this whole thing. I was the first anon person. Ellethwen didn't know I was the one who posted that in the first place, and I was only trying to help her out. So she was not a lackey or anything.

I do see the things that she was getting at though, and I don't take it back about what I said. It was my delivery that was the part I regret. You may have seen it as a "personal attack" but I never meant for it to be "personal".

I hope this clears some things up, and I hope we can end this right here and now.

P.S. I am a boy Brad. A boy.

In Brad's defense: Its just a website, but its HIS website, can't he so as he pleases in his own space?? I love it because HE writes in it.

And I am one of those who is certainly lucky, lucky enough to MAYBE be going to Japan and celebrate with him. But for me it's not only about the site, I've known Moonkitty for only 2 years, but I'll gladly go because I am Mexican and Mexicans don't need a reason to party. xDDDD, So if I can party with MOONIES in the original SMLAND, SIGN ME UP!!! I'm all for that!!!!! XDDDDD


Why is that even an issue?? I don't get it. Oo...A person's achievements should always be good, right??
 

Well this was a mouthfull to wake up to this morning! And it seems to have resolved thankfully.

I do want to say thanks to those that kept calm and made some positive additions to this "conversation".

I also want to say that, slasher449 sorry if I overreacted to your initial post but you basically said that you liked my site and the problem you had was with me. You can see why I assumed it was a personal attack. ;)

Ellethwen, I responded to your email within hours (possibly the same hour as I was online all of yesterday) and even though you have since found it, 24 hours hadn't even passed before you decided to fill up a comment page completely unrelated to your issues raised. Not cool. Also ragging on someone for not getting back to you within a day is a little crazy. Try to chill out a bit. It's only Sailor Moon. ;)

And now just to clear my sanity, I'm not exactly throwing an Olympic Opening Ceremony for the 10th bday. Was just thinking of getting a group together, maybe do some Sailor Moon site seeing, hit the karaoke rooms in Azabu Juban etc. Less than I would do for my real birthday. That's hardly crazy. I think it could be fun. :D
 

No it was mostly my fault. I can of forced here to do it. All fault should go to me. Don't hate here.

My post sort of came out wrong. I never meant to hurt your feelings or anything, it's just..... well I forget what it was actually.=O

Azabu Juban is next to Roppongi which is the rich international business district. A lot of business men and women live there with their families. A lot of the shops and theatres there also cater to non-Japanese people. I'm actually seeing Dark Knight there this afternoon with some friends. Toho Virgin Cinemas rock!

Unfortunately I'm about 20 minutes away from there on the train. I live in an area called Nakano-Ku. Wish I lived in Azabu Juban but that's a bit out of my budget. ;) Maybe someday.

p.s. Speaking of spam, bought some last week and did some nice frying in the kitchen with it. Yum.
 

Oh, Dark Knight was an awesome movie. Over in Japan is it dubbed or subbed?
