Styles Updates!

Just updated several css classes to make the link colours in the different boxes more special.

Also added some content to the orange box which has replaced the cliche welcome message which will be updated and placed in the soon to be uploaded site section.

Forums News Uhhh.... would you believe they fixed themselves? Noone's claimed credit yet, but they're back! If you're new, feel free to join, though from now on I will manually approve all new member applications. Don't worry, it's still free and you join as normal. You just won't be able to post until I aprove your joining.

Tip: If your username doesn't look like this: HJGFF%^% and you enter a location, you'll be approved.

Fred Ladd to Appear in Sydney, AUSTRALIA!

Got this from the latest Madman.com.au newsletter! If anyone can make it to this event and take photos, let me know! I'll compensate you somehow!

No, not the ghost of Tezuka! We're talking about the one and only Fred Ladd, who produced ASTROBOY and KIMBA for Western audiences, plus a host of other shows such as GIGANTOR and G-FORCE. He was even a consultant on the production of SAILOR MOON!

If Tezuka is the "god of comics", then Fred is the "god-father" of anime! Without his contributions to these shows, who knows when anime would have appeared on our barbarian shores!

While the details are yet to be finalized, Mr. Ladd is tentatively scheduled to appear late November. Keep an eye on the Madman website and the Kinokuniya notice board in-store for all the details. We hope to see you there, for what is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to catch up with one of the West's most influential animation pioneers.

Rogue Moon Updates

With one day shy of a full year between updates, yet another one of my Sailor Moon fanfic sites (Rogue Moon) has been updated with a new chapter and edits to a profile. And yes, I know I have many fanfic sites...6 Sailor Moon ones alone...and not a single one is close to being finished...most haven't broken past chapter two...but I'm attempting to do so anyway.

Japanese Actress in.... a DUB?

Anime on DVD reports that Mari Iijima will reprise her role as Minmei in the new Macross ENGLISH dub of the series! She was the original Japanese voice actress for the same role.

Not really Sailor Moon news, but very cool! This is the first time an anime has had the same VA voice the character in both languages!

"Pink Kitty" Finished!

True, no site is ever really finished, but I am satisfied (at least for now) with the ammount of content in the "Pink Kitty" minisite! Added the site map, the layout page, added some very cool Live Journal icons, links and also added some buttons if people wish to link to it rather than the Moonkitty.NET main site.

What does this mean? I can now move on to the next stage in getting Moonkitty.NET where I want it! Right now I have my eye on another Moonkitty. Maybe Sailor Mau? Maybe Nyan Nyan? I really can't wait to do the Luna P one but I want to give the lesser known Moonkitties some chance in the spotlight first. ;) I'll also be continuing with the Episode Guide (which I let slip for a bit).

Moonkitty.NET & Google

Just wrote a tutorial on how to add Moonkitty.NET to your personalised Google homepage here. It's a great idea and well worth doing, not just for Moonkitty.NET but for all your fave sites!

In other news, I finally uploaded the Interviews section which can be viewed via the menu on the right.

I also grabbed the two new Sailor Moon DVDs yesterday, Sailor Stars 3 and 4. Expect a review tomorrow. My copy of Warriors of Legend also arrived today. A review of that should be coming shortly.

Hello Again

Hello again, Sailor Scout X here, well from my last post I advertised a site, for my next one, I wanna say this. Sailor Moon may be off the air, but it's not forgotten. In the November 2005 issue of Beckett's Anime Collector, there was an article on the Sailor Moon stars. Also of the Top 5 Masks in Anime, Tuxedo Mask has made it in there with his simple white mask.

Moonkitty.HACK (Why, oh, GOD WHY!?!?)

Well, thanks to some complete losers with no life whatsoever Moonkitty.NET and ALL of my other sites have lost their forums! That's right, we've been hacked and I see no way to get the forums back! I'm locked out, no access. If anyone has any experience with hacked forums, please help me out!

Updates

Join some great fanlistings and did some small updates to our Pink Kitty Fanlisting including adding it's very first affiliate! (please join!)

Also fixed a broken link in the Christmas Special (only took me a year to get around to it!)

Edit: Just uploaded the gallery and wallpaper sections to the "Pink Kitty" mini site. Also added several new buttons for members of the fanlist too!

Coming Tomorrow... something PINK!

Have been working on getting the Moonkitty profiles redesigned and online in order to get more content back online. Was really inspired and have just finished doing the main work on a layout for that Moonkitty's mini site that, well, even impressed myself! I always try to do something different with each new layout I make and this one really breaks new ground in my design style.

Which Moonkitty is it? Well let's just say it if I mentioned the colour "pink", you might be able to guess.

Look for this cool new mini site sometime tomorrow afternoon.

More Cast Updates!

Two cast updates today!

Miyuu Sawai will be guest starring in a detective drama on the 20th October at 8pm on TV Asahi.

Ayaka Komatsu will be starring in a new tv series called, Premium Hideout. The first episode will air 14th of October 27:10 but will normally be on every friday evening at 26:20.

Now Keiko Kitagawa!

Can't wait for our live action Sailormoon's new movie? Well how about Sailor Mars' new film, Mizu Ni Sumuhana. Keiko, personally my fave actress on PGSM, will be the villians in the movie, which ironically enough is also based off of a famous manga series (not released yet in English as far as I know).

SOTM!

Wow. And I mean, WOW! Moonkitty.NET has been awarded the prestigious "Site of the Month" award from The Deep Submerge Directory. Normally I don't think much of awards as they're normally a scam buy lesser known sites to get more popular ones to post a link back to theirs. However Deep Submerge is such a top quality Sailormoon site that the webmistress' opinion means the world to me! This is so appreciated and has really helped motivate me to further update Moonkitty.NET.

Sailormoon SuperS DVDs Selling Out!

Wow. Just updated and uploaded the SuperS DVD page from the old site, and while updating all the store links realised that the SuperS DVDs are selling out everywhere! Boy, am I glad I got the SuperS Boxset for Christmas!
